Job Details

The Business Manager will be responsible for a range of both strategic and tactical initiatives spanning analytics, controls, financing, process optimization, product launch + management, strategy and technical tool development.

Responsibilities include:

-Define and execute strategic business plan in conjunction with senior management, quant, risk, trading and tech teams;

-Analysis and identification of opportunities to automate, drive efficiencies and optimize overall unit performance;

-Collaborate with trading desk to optimize trader workflows;

-Ideate, design and manage build-out for new products and processes;

-Coordination of end-to-end product/project lifecycle (analysis, roadmap, requirements gathering, user stories, technical specs, delivery);

-Work with tech team to improve data integrity and reporting analytics;

-Development of a robust trading controls environment;

-Point person for proposals and presentations to senior management/ C suite;

-Adhoc project work as required.

The successful applicant will have:

-10+ years' relevant markets experience in a business management or product-related role spanning commodities, credit, currencies, fixed income and/or equities;

-Hands-on knowledge of electronic trading platforms, both day-to-day use and managing implementations/upgrades;

-Additional knowledge around portfolio finance, prime brokerage, repo and securities lending a significant plus;

-Advanced technical toolkit, ideally with hands-on experience in Python and SQL;

-Effective cross-functional collaborator able to work with diverse stakeholders spanning compliance, finance, legal, operations, quant, research, risk, technology, trading and treasury.

-Minimum Bachelors degree (economics, engineering, finance, math or similar) from a leading school, Masters and/or MBA preferred but not required;

-CFA charterholder a plus;

-Outstanding communication and presentation skills;

-High degree of motivation and delivery focus.
