Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager responsible for overseeing full project lifecycles or managing key portions of large-scale programs. The ideal candidate will coordinate and supervise all project resources to ensure successful delivery, adhering to contract requirements and company standards.

The Project Manager will lead projects through design, implementation, and testing phases, using enterprise project management tools for tracking work plans, issues, risks, and dependencies. Regular status reporting, meetings, and issue/risk management are core aspects of this role.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage and deliver IT projects or portions of large programs according to scope, timeline, and budget

  • Direct project resources and coordinate assignments throughout all project phases

  • Utilize project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project) to track and manage work plans, risks, dependencies, and issues

  • Produce regular status reports and lead project status meetings

  • Facilitate risk management and issue resolution sessions

  • Apply SDLC methodologies to manage technical aspects of projects

  • Ensure quality execution and timely delivery of project objectives

  • Manage stakeholder expectations and foster strong project team collaboration


Required Skills:

  • 10+ years of progressive IT experience

  • 7+ years of project management experience in IT projects of similar scope and complexity

  • Expertise in project management methodologies

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Project or equivalent planning tools

  • Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)

  • Excellent organizational and planning skills with strong attention to detail

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

  • Proven issue resolution and risk management capabilities

  • Ability to guide, coordinate, and motivate cross-functional project teams

  • Experience resolving technical issues in IT projects


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field

  • PMI / Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
