Job Title: .NET Architect

Location: Charlotte, NC (Onsite)

Employment Type: W2 Only

Duration: 12+ Months

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced .NET Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, high-performance enterprise solutions. You will define technical vision, establish best practices, and guide development teams in building robust applications using the latest Microsoft technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design end-to-end .NET solutions using microservices, cloud-native patterns, and modern architectures
  • Create technical blueprints for complex systems with .NET Core, ASP.NET, and Azure services
  • Evaluate and recommend technologies, frameworks, and tools for the .NET ecosystem
  • Define coding standards, design patterns, and architectural principles
  • Lead proof-of-concepts for new technologies and architectural approaches
  • Mentor development teams on best practices for performance, security, and scalability
  • Conduct architecture reviews and provide technical guidance
  • Drive adoption of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
  • Architect solutions leveraging Azure PaaS services (App Services, Functions, Kubernetes)
  • Design hybrid/multi-cloud solutions when required
  • Implement infrastructure-as-code using ARM/Bicep/Terraform
  • Oversee implementation of core frameworks and shared libraries
  • Optimize applications for high availability, scalability, and security
  • Troubleshoot complex performance issues and system bottlenecks

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 13+ years of .NET development experience with in architecture roles
  • Expertise in:
    • .NET 6+/Core, ASP.NET MVC, Web API
    • Microservices, DDD, and clean architecture
    • Azure cloud services (App Service, Functions, AKS, SQL DB)
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • SQL/NoSQL databases (SQL Server, Cosmos DB)
    • Messaging systems (Service Bus, Event Grid)
    • Security standards (OAuth, OWASP)
  • Experience with:
    • Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
    • CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
    • Performance tuning and application monitoring

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Azure Solutions Architect certification
  • Experience with Blazor or MAUI
  • Knowledge of frontend frameworks (React, Angular)
  • Exposure to AI/ML integration
