Registered Nurse (RN) Review Analyst | Remote | Michigan | Contract
Walker Healthforce is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Review Analyst with 2-4+ years of experience located in Michigan. This is an 8-month contract opportunity.
CORE REQUIREMENTS:
- Two (2) to four (4) years of clinical experience which may include acute patient care, discharge planning, case management, and utilization review, etc. Demonstrated clinical knowledge and experience relative to patient care and health care delivery processes.
- Above average computer skills (Microsoft office).
- Clinical experience in ICU, ER, Med Surg or post-acute care positions in Skilled Nursing Facilities/Rehab/Long Term Acute Care Hospital
- Registered Nurse with current unrestricted Michigan Registered Nurse license
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing, allied health, business, or related field preferred.
- One (1) year health insurance plan experience or managed care environment preferred.
- Certification in Case Management may be preferred based upon designated department assignment.
- InterQual/MCG or other utilization review experience preferred
- Prefer utilization management experience.
