POSITION SUMMARY

If you are working toward a career in Engineering, we have an exciting internship opportunity with Nestl Purina in Flagstaff, Arizona. Learn from our expert Engineering team while gaining valuable real-world experience in a highly automated and complex pet food manufacturing facility. Whether your focus is mechanical, process, electrical and/or project engineering, this internship will challenge you to expand your skillset and make a genuine impact.

  • Prepare specifications and develop bid scopes for contractors
  • Develop estimates and source equipment for projects
  • Create design solutions to address areas of opportunity in accordance with engineering standards pertaining to safety, sanitation and production impact
  • Assist in supervising contractors and maintenance personnel on capital upgrades and projects
  • Contribute to team effort by engaging in Nestl Continuous Excellence (NCE) activities to drive results
  • Engage in a safe and healthy work environment

Requirements
  • Must be a college student of Engineering who is preferably entering senior year in the fall of 2024
  • Must be available to sustain up to a one-year internship commitment (spring 2024to spring 2025)
  • Must be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week on-site at the Flagstaff manufacturing facility

Other
  • Experience with AutoCAD is preferred but not required
