Responsibilities:
- Preparing test scenarios and feature acceptance criteria.
- Writing automation tests for backend APIs.
- Documenting test processes and results.
Requirement:
- 5 years of experience in the testing API Testing.
- Knowledge in REST API Testing and automation and exposure to tools like SOAP UI, Postman.
- Demonstrated experience in testing REST APIs using Postman. Strong experience with API testing (REST API).
- Proficiency in, at least, one programming language ( Java, Python).
- Hands-on experience in various tools like Postman, Swagger, Rest assured, Jmeter, and load runner.
- Good understanding of the business domain behind APIs.
- Experience in working in Scrum - agile methodologies, coding standards, code reviews, source management, and build processes (CI/CD Pipeline).
- Responsible for understanding, designing, and writing test scenarios and test cases; updating test cases based on the requirement changes.
- Ability to design and code complex test cases and to code (or contribute code to) frameworks that simplify test development and automation.
- Experience in writing high-level test plans or QA strategy documents.
- An understanding of what the QA function looks like when looking at Micro-services, Continuous Integration, and Continuous deployment.
- Good knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in scrum teams.
