Position: Network Test Engineer
Location: Kanata, ON
Type: Full Time
Fully Onsite Role at Cisco Office.
Job Requirements:
- Excellent knowledge in L2 (vlan, lag), L3(OSPF, BGP), ACL, VxLAN, EVPN (All mandatory protocols)
- Cisco ACI fabric + APIC (similar Juniper, Arista)
- Python programming/coding, PyATS framework / Robot / Pytest. Ability to design Python scripts from scratch related to networking protocols and features, API / Flow tables , Rest API based connection
- Experience with Cisco (mandatory), platforms (Router and Switches), knowledge in NxOS (preferred)
- Working knowledge in using traffic generator tools - Spirent, IXIA, Trex
- Good communication, strong Debugging and troubleshooting abilities
- Test Bed creation, Debugging & troubleshooting (mandatory), test documentation preparation
- Aware of Jira / similar tools for TMS, defect tracking and test automation
