Job Details
We are seeking a skilled Sr. Network Engineer with a strong background in Enterprise Networking, Data Center, and Security. The ideal candidate will have hands on experience in designing, implementing, and managing complex network infrastructures. This contractor role requires a proactive individual who can work independently and collaboratively within a team to ensure optimal network performance and security.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage enterprise level network solutions, focusing on Data Center and Security.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define network requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
- Conduct regular security assessments and implement necessary measures to protect network infrastructure.
- Document network configurations, processes, and procedures for future reference and compliance.
- Stay updated with the latest networking technologies and security trends to recommend improvements.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members and stakeholders.
Mandatory Skills:
- Must have Forescout skills and relevant experience
- Probably 2 years experience on the Forescout in a position where they made policy and/or configuration changes and a solid troubleshooting background.
- Strong expertise in Enterprise Networking, including routing, switching, and network protocols.
- In depth knowledge of Data Center technologies, including virtualization, storage, and cloud integration.
- Proven experience in network security practices, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
- Hands on experience with network monitoring and management tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
