Job Title: Trade Finance Compliance Officer BSA/OFAC Oversight

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented compliance professional to evaluate and enhance our trade finance operations with a focus on regulatory adherence. This role will be responsible for assessing end-to-end trade finance processes, identifying compliance gaps related to BSA (Bank Secrecy Act) and OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) requirements, and developing comprehensive policies and procedures to ensure alignment with internal standards and regulatory expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct a thorough review of trade finance workflows, including letters of credit, collections, and guarantees.
• Evaluate current practices for compliance with BSA/AML and OFAC regulations.
• Draft, update, and maintain policies and procedures related to trade finance compliance.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement process improvements and risk mitigation strategies.
• Provide training and guidance to relevant teams on regulatory obligations and best practices.
• Support internal audits and regulatory examinations related to trade finance and sanctions compliance.

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of trade finance instruments and operations.
• In-depth understanding of BSA/AML and OFAC regulatory frameworks.
• Experience in drafting compliance documentation and process mapping.
• Prior experience in a banking compliance, audit, or risk role preferred.
