Intermediate Level | On-Site, Evansville, IN | Monday-Friday, 1st Shift
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Service Desk Technician to join the Help Desk team, providing frontline support for end-user IT issues. This role involves troubleshooting account lockouts, supporting enterprise applications, and assisting with system migrations. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Service Desk Technician to join the Help Desk team, providing frontline support for end-user IT issues. This role involves troubleshooting account lockouts, supporting enterprise applications, and assisting with system migrations. It is a contract position with the potential for extension or conversion to full-time employment, offering valuable experience in a global enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level phone, email, and chat support for end-user IT issues.
- Log and monitor tickets in the IT Service Management system.
- Troubleshoot account lockouts and application access issues.
- Support Active Directory and email migration activities.
- Escalate complex issues to appropriate support groups and follow up to ensure resolution.
- Research, test, and document solutions to technical problems.
- Deliver excellent customer service with a professional, approachable demeanor.
- Follow established corporate policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Contribute to team efforts and collaborate with other IT staff.
- Pursue first-call resolution whenever possible.
Required Skills:
- Help desk and technical support experience.
- Proficiency with Windows 10, Office 365, and Active Directory.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with ticketing systems and password resets.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in enterprise service desk environments.
- ITIL certification or related experience.
- Ability to follow structured processes and recognize deviations from standard practices.
Experience Level:
- Intermediate - suitable for candidates with prior help desk or service desk analyst experience, but also open to entry-level candidates with strong technical aptitude and customer service skills.
