Lead .NET MAUI Mobile Developer - Onsite in Austin, TX - 2+ Month Contract
Location: Austin, TX (100% Onsite)
Duration: 2+ Months

Project Overview:
We re seeking an experienced .NET Mobile Developer to lead the modernization of a critical mobile application used by the State of Texas. In this short-term, high-impact role, you will take the lead in transitioning the TXMAP codebase currently built on .NET Xamarin to the new .NET MAUI framework. This transition will ensure continued functionality for both iOS and Android platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the migration of TXMAP mobile applications from Xamarin to .NET MAUI

  • Ensure application stability and functionality across Android and iOS platforms

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand existing app architecture and performance expectations

  • Leverage Microsoft Visual Studio and other development tools to maintain code integrity and performance

  • Document work, communicate updates, and support state compliance standards throughout the transition

Minimum Required Skills and Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience with the .NET platform

  • 8+ years using Microsoft Visual Studio

  • 1+ year of hands-on experience developing mobile applications for Android and iOS

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years working with the Atlassian Tool Suite (primarily JIRA)

  • 2+ years of experience migrating apps from Xamarin to .NET MAUI

  • Previous experience with State of Texas government applications
