Job Description:

Technical Skills:

• Expertise in claims and accounting processing systems and software
• Familiarity with data analysis tools to identify trends and patterns
• Ability to build out test documentation including various scenarios.
• Understanding of database structures and querying techniques
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).

Insurance/Accounting Knowledge:

• Deep understanding of insurance policies, coverage types, and claim guidelines
• Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), basic accounting concepts, and financial statement analysis to accurately evaluate claim data and identify potential errors.
• Understanding of Account receivable

Quality Assurance Skills:

• Excellent attention to detail to identify errors in claims data
• Ability to conduct thorough claim reviews and audits
• Skill in identifying potential fraud or abuse within claims
• Experience with test case development and execution for claims system functionality.

Analytical Abilities:

• Capability to analyze claim data to identify trends and patterns
• Strong problem-solving skills to resolve claim discrepancies
• Ability to root cause analysis of claim issues.

Communication Skills:

• Clear and concise communication with stakeholders (adjusters, underwriters, customers)
• Ability to document findings and provide detailed reports on claim issues
• Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams to address claim concerns
