Location: Charlotte, North Carolina(Hybrid)

Job Overview:
  • Consult on and participate in moderately complex initiatives within Specialty Software Engineering.
  • Analyze and resolve moderately complex engineering challenges.
  • Collaborate with client personnel to meet deliverables and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Maintain and develop RHEL scripts and schedules to support additional needs.
  • Provide SAS consulting assistance to approximately 8000 end users.
  • Support problem determination, best practices, and coding techniques.
  • Work with various data sources, including DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, MS Access, MS Excel, Hadoop, Dremio, Starburst, ASCII, EBDCIC, and CLI interfaces.

Qualifications:
  • 4 years of Specialty Software Engineering experience or equivalent through work, consulting, training, military experience, or education.
  • Experience with SAS platform administration (SAS 9.x or Viya).
  • Familiarity with UNIX/Linux command line and file systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
  • Good communication and ticket-handling skills.
  • Ability to follow documented procedures and escalate appropriately.

Preferred Skills:
  • Exposure to SAS Grid, VA, or Viya environments.
  • Experience with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
  • Basic scripting knowledge (Shell, Python, etc.).

Pay Range: $60 - $65
