Description
Candidates will be traveling across the United States dictated by the end client to install central offices and will be traveling by box truck with a team lead to different locations along the way until they reach their destination installation site. (ex. last team flew to Dallas and had 36 hops until they reached the destination site in Washington State.) Candidates will be given per diem. Candidates will be eligible for Mileage and Travel time reimbursement.
Candidates must sit east of Las Vegas and be under an hour commute to a major airport. All equipment will be supplied by CBM, but if candidates have their own tools that would be a nice to have. Most fiber will be prefabricated, but not always. Candidates should be open to driving box truck (non-DCL) but not required, candidates without an active driver's license are not preferred. Must fill out Questionnaire to be submitted
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Lead Installation Technician should have minimum 5 years CO installation experience.
Should possess a good mechanical aptitude.
Should possess a good knowledge of basic power tools.
Should have the ability to adapt to various work environments.
Should have good knowledge of optical routing equipment installations.
Should have good knowledge of fiber optic cable installation & testing practices.
Should have good knowledge of AC/DC power.
Should have good knowledge of infrastructure installation work (equipment racks, cable racks and fiber duct etc.)

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
