Sr. Developer with AI, Hadoop, and Oracle

Job Summary:

Dexian is seeking a Sr. Developer with AI, Hadoop, and Oracle for an opportunity with a client located in Charlotte, NC.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and AI-powered solutions


• Implement and optimize AI algorithms, potentially utilizing frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn


• Work with various AI techniques such as natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, or predictive analytics


• Integrate AI functionalities into existing applications and systems


• Monitor, evaluate, and maintain AI model performance in production environments


• Design, implement, and manage scalable big data solutions using the Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, etc.)


• Develop and optimize data pipelines for ingestion, processing, and storage of large data sets


• Ensure data quality, security, and governance within the Hadoop environment


• Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues and operational problems in distributed systems


• Design, develop, and maintain database schemas, tables, and views in Oracle databases


• Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures (PL/SQL), and functions for data manipulation and retrieval


• Optimize database performance, including query tuning and indexing strategies


• Ensure data integrity, security, and availability within Oracle environments


• Perform database administration tasks such as backup, recovery, and patching as needed

Requirements:

• 7+ years of professional work experience as a software development


• Experience working with big data and eco system (e.g. Hadoop, Hive, pySpark, HBase, Sqoop, Impala, Kafka, Flume, Oozie, MapReduce, S3 etc.)


• Experience with high level programming languages (Python, Java, etc)


• Worked in Co-Pilot for at least 6 months.


• Experience working with database systems (e.g. Exadata, NoSQL, Cassandra, Neo4j, etc.)


• Strong PL SQL, Autosys, Perl/Unix scripting


• Experience working as part of an Agile team and using Agile SDLC tools (Jira, etc.)


• Ability to partner with other functional areas to ensure execution of development, design, coding, testing, debugging and documenting application


• Strong analytical ability, independent problem solving, and good communication skills


• Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and deliver in a fast-paced agile environment


• Expert knowledge and experience in software development methodologies and industry practices


• Expert understanding and experience with building and deploying enterprise applications


• Excellent written, verbal and diagramming skills. Expertise in using PowerPoint and clearly articulating findings/presenting solutions


• Any knowledge in GEN AI technology is a huge plus


• Any knowledge in LLM AI technology is a huge plus


• Any knowledge in Microsoft azure is a plus
