Microsoft POS Support Specialist
Introduction: Client is seeking a skilled Microsoft POS Support Specialist to join our team, focusing on supporting Amtrak’s retail operations. This role involves providing technical support for Microsoft Point of Sale (POS) systems, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring seamless POS functionality to enhance customer service and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Provide day to day technical support for Microsoft POS systems used at Amtrak retail locations.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network related issues related to the POS systems.
- Configure and maintain POS terminals, peripherals, and related equipment. Assist with software updates, patch management, and system configurations to ensure up to date security and functionality.
- Collaborate with internal IT teams and vendors to escalate and resolve complex issues.
- Ensure timely resolution of incidents and service requests related to POS systems.
