Cyber Threat Lead

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Cyber Threat Intelligence Team Lead in Rocklin, CA.

Duties/Day to Day Overview:
* Detections for new attacks, automations and new playbooks; Bot attacks and threat identification, Appsec, priority intelligence requirement
* Red team: Built out a team of 2 right now; This team helps coordinate their ops; We have third party pen tests, review tests, discover remediation needs and coordinate and then validate those fixes
* Interact with desktop, hardware asset management, AD, Windows L2/3, Linux L2/3, Network L2/3, PCI/Credit Card team, Ecommerce
* More day-to-day operational support; Very automated environment

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
* 5+ years of relevant security experience
* Team fit is more important; Can teach them the technical things that we need
* Someone with a cool calm, demeanor who is teachable and then can turn around and help others; Someone ordered and methodical
* Incidence response, threat management, red team, ecommerce protection/application security, compliance
* They have a DevSecOps team; We have heavy Kubernetes, all 3 clouds; Base knowledge of scripting like Bash/Python
* Not expecting someone to come in and know everything but team fit is the best
* Tech Stack: Tanium, CrowdStrike, Proofpoint, Google SecOps, Palo Alto Demisto, Axonius, ExtraHop
* Familiarity with WSI Tech Stack will be prioritized: Tanium, CrowdStrike, Proofpoint, Google SecOps, Palo Alto Demisto, Axonius, ExtraHop

Additional Qualifications:
* Professional certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, cloud certifications)
* Ecommerce experience is a strong plus, retail also helpfu
* Background in a large multi-national organization is a strong plus
* Utilization of appdev tools like Vericode, Sneek, Ox, etc. is a plus
* Hands-on experience with AD, Linux systems, Snowflake, Azure, and VMware

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
