Job Details
- DB2 for z/OS Administration: Installing, maintaining, and tuning DB2 subsystems.
- SAP Basis Support: Supporting SAP applications running on DB2.
- Performance Tuning and Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and resolving performance issues.
- Disaster Recovery and Backup Solutions: Designing and testing DR strategies.
- Mainframe (z/OS) Skills: Working knowledge of mainframe environments.
- Root Cause Analysis: Investigating and resolving recurring technical issues.
- Documentation and Reporting: Creating support documentation and participating in status reporting.
- On-call Support: Providing 24/7 support as part of a rotation.
- DB2 Versions 7 or 8+
- Distributed Data Facility (DDF)
- DB Connect
- Data Sharing/Sysplex
- IBM and third-party DB utilities and monitoring tools
Experience with Z/OS (fundamentals at an OS level)
Managing jobs and resources
