Job Details

NewGen is seeking Salesforce Developers to support the design, build, and maintenance of Salesforce, you will be hands-on with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWCs), and integrations, while collaborating with administrators, consultants, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust, scalable technical solutions. This role supports both ongoing sustainment and incremental enhancements to an existing enterprise Salesforce implementation, requiring strong judgment, code quality, and the ability to work within established architectural and compliance constraints.

Required:

  • Develop custom Salesforce applications, components, and integrations using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and API services.
  • Collaborate with consultants and stakeholders to refine requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Implement complex business logic, workflows, triggers, and automation.
  • Build and maintain secure, scalable integrations with external systems.
  • Ensure solutions adhere to Salesforce best practices and federal security and compliance standards.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and release management.
  • Maintain documentation, technical designs, and deployment procedures.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for deployed solutions.
  • Ability to obtain a VA Public Trust Clearance.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I and Salesforce Administrator (or ability to obtain within 90 days).
  • Education & Experience (must meet one of the following):
    • Bachelor’s degree + 5 years of Salesforce or relevant software development experience, OR
    • Associate’s degree + 7 years of Salesforce or relevant software development experience, OR
    • High School Diploma/GED + 9 years of Salesforce or relevant software development experience.
