SDET (C# / Azure / API Testing)

Remote (Eastern Time Preferred) | Long-Term Contract (24+ Months) | Competitive W2 Rate + Benefits + PTO

Our team is looking for a SDET to join a highly collaborative Agile team building modern enterprise systems that power one of the nation's most respected retail brands.

This role is focused on designing and building end-to-end automation frameworks in C# not just maintaining tests. The ideal engineer is hands-on with API, database, and cloud automation, comfortable in Azure DevOps environments, and passionate about creating test systems that scale.

What You ll Do

  • Design, develop, and maintain C# automation frameworks supporting backend and API systems.

  • Build comprehensive test solutions covering Unit, Integration, Functional, Performance, and End-to-End (E2E) testing.

  • Collaborate with software engineers, product owners, and QA peers to drive quality across the full SDLC.

  • Create and execute test plans for RESTful APIs, databases, and Azure services (Blob Storage, Service Bus, Function Apps).

  • Leverage CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps) to automate test execution, reporting, and deployment validation.

  • Document and maintain test architecture and automation standards.

What You Bring

  • Proven experience building end-to-end C# automation frameworks (not just using them).

  • Strong knowledge of OOP principles, C#/.NET, and Page Object Model (POM) design.

  • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, backend services, and data validation.

  • Hands-on with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.

  • Experience automating backend, API, and database testing; familiarity with event-driven or microservice systems is a plus.

  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with retail or e-commerce systems, including product, pricing, or transaction data.

  • Familiarity with data hubs, data integrity testing, and third-party API integrations.

  • Performance testing experience (JMeter or similar).

Why Join

  • Work directly with a top-ranked national employer and a highly skilled engineering team.

  • Build test frameworks that define automation strategy for enterprise-scale platforms.

  • Long-term stability (24+ months) with competitive pay, medical benefits, and PTO.
