We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our dynamic and innovative software development team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about quality assurance, automation, and ensuring the reliability of our software products. As an SDET, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing automated testing frameworks, conducting tests, identifying bugs, and working closely with developers to ensure high-quality software delivery.

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our dynamic and innovative software development team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about quality assurance, automation, and ensuring the reliability of our software products. As an SDET, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing automated testing frameworks, conducting tests, identifying bugs, and working closely with developers to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the development team to understand software requirements, design test plans, and develop test cases.
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks to support functional, integration, and regression testing.
- Design, develop, and maintain tools and scripts to increase test coverage and efficiency.
- Design and implement automated test cases to validate new features, enhancements, and bug fixes.
- Execute and analyze test cases to identify defects, troubleshoot issues, and provide detailed bug reports.
- Identify, document, and track software defects to resolution.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to reproduce, debug, and resolve software defects.
Requirements
- Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript with demonstrated hands-on experience using Playwright for end-to-end testing and test automation. Candidates must have practical experience building and maintaining Playwright test suites.
- Proven experience as an SDET or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of software development concepts and methodologies.
- Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with Web applications and API testing (including RESTful); Proficiency in API testing using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
- Familiarity with Microsoft technologies including Azure, C# /.NET tech stack, .NET Framework, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, Microsoft SQL Server; and MVC/ WEB API.
- Experience with performance testing, security testing, or other specialized testing areas is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex software issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
