Description:
We are looking for a proactive and innovative professional to lead digital transformation initiatives within our team. This role focuses on improving organizational efficiency through automation, integration, and optimization of workflows using Microsoft technologies and scripting solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience connecting business tools to SQL databases and creating scalable solutions that enhance collaboration and productivity.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain team SharePoint sites to improve collaboration and resource accessibility.
- Develop and deploy Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate flows to automate routine tasks and streamline business processes.
- Create scripts (e.g., PowerShell, JavaScript, Python) to automate document handling, including combining PDFs and managing file workflows.
- Integrate Microsoft Planner and other productivity tools for task tracking and team coordination.
- Connect Microsoft tools (Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint) to SQL tables for data-driven workflows and reporting.
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement across departmental workflows.
- Maintain and update electronic records in the company s document management system.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver efficient, user-friendly solutions.
- Provide training and support for team members on new tools and workflows.
- Communicate clearly and professionally in both written and verbal formats.
Basic Qualifications:
- Associate Degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in process automation, scripting, or digital workflow development.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 ecosystem (SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate, Planner).
- Experience integrating business applications with SQL databases.
Desired Qualifications:
- Proficiency in JavaScript, PowerShell, or Python for automation tasks.
- Familiarity with CAST or similar in house developed document management systems.
- Prior experience in the utility industry (preferred but not required).
- Working knowledge of organizational efficiency principles and digital transformation strategies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
