Job Details

Title- Linux Ubuntu Engineer

Location- Sunnyvale, CA (Day1 Onsite)- Once candidate is selected there will be In Person interview for final discussion.

Skills- We are looking for Core RHEL and Ubuntu. Candidate should have strong experience in below highlighted skills.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Linux support (Ubuntu/RHEL related products IDM/Satellite/Centrify) product centric knowledge and experience.
Hardware install/break/fix/troubleshoot Dell/ Cisco UCS/ HPE hardware install and maintain lifecycle.
SAN/NAS (Pure/Isilon/Netapp).
Maintain customer-facing, mission-critical 24/7 production services.
Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot operating systems, networks, and applications.
Perform regularly scheduled maintenance and upgrades, including instance patching and replacement.
Provide infrastructure-level support for Production, Development, and QA environments.
Drive best practices for operational policies and procedures, including communication, change, and incident management.
Participate in an on-call rotation.
Writing deployment scripts, debugging application issues, and evaluating new technologies.
Delivering 12x7 operations through a customer-focused approach, including responding to production alerts.
Implementing system-level and application performance monitoring metrics using various monitoring tools like Elastic Search, Logic Monitor, etc.

Skill/Job Requirements:

8+ years of experience with Linux (Ubuntu and RHEL, all other Linux flavors or Windows).

Good grasp of fundamental security concepts with hands-on experience in implementing security controls and compliance requirements

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Ability to work well in a dynamic, collaborative team environment

Working knowledge of risk management and standards.

Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related degree, required
