Senior Business Systems Analyst

Story Behind the Need

• This role supports 2 squads that operate in the SAFe Framework.
• They produce features that enhance our current offerings and often use new technologies to accomplish this.
• This is not part of a larger initiative

Typical Day in the Role

• Attend Scrum ceremonies.
• Writing technical user stories and working with the product managers to elaborate technical requirements and technical acceptance criteria
• Maintain a groomed backlog of user stories that are technically groomed.
• Perform ad hoc queries of databases using SQL and postman to find data attributes and their mappings
• OT on deployment nights which are usually every other Thursday
• Performing Gap analysis of old site vs new
• Performance indicators: Maintain a groomed backlog of user stories that are technically groomed. Perform ad hoc queries of databases using SQL and postman to find data attributes and their mappings.
• There is potential for this to become a long term position.

Candidate Requirements

• Required: Bachelors Preferred: SAFe certification
• Years of experience required: 4-6 years as a technical BSA or developer
• Disqualifiers: Too much job hopping on resume
• Additional qualities to look for: SAFe certification preferred, healthcare background nice but not required

• 1 Technical Story Writing including acceptance criteria
• 2 SQL and Postman experience to query data and understand how the data relates to our use cases
• 3 Ability to ask probing questions, take initiative to ensure groomed backlog for the development team
