Job Details

UNIVERSAL Technologies is seeking four (4) Oracle PLSQL/PowerBuilder developers for a remote position, active LinkedIn account preferred. The right candidate will design and implement solutions supporting the automated and manual generation of client-facing forms and notices in multiple languages. This role involves creating technical designs, developing scripts and interfaces, integrating with existing applications, and ensuring performance and compliance with agency and local mandates.

MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor s degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience developing and maintaining PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and SQL statements in Oracle 19c or higher.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in performance tuning, including optimizing SQL and PL/SQL objects.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience with XML processing and object-oriented programming involving large data objects.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in data structures, data manipulation, database design, programming, testing, and implementation.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience preparing technical and user documentation and performing software conversions.
  • Preferred: 4+ years of experience in PowerBuilder programming.

SCOPE OF SERVICES

  • Create technical designs, including solution architecture and experience design, to support the manual and automated generation of forms and notices in compliance with agency, local, and legal requirements.
  • Develop scripts using appropriate programming techniques and languages to enable template creation and snippet configuration for variable text through configuration tables.
  • Create and maintain database scripts to manage snippet storage entities.
  • Develop user interface (UI) components and front-end screens to capture required data and establish links to the EDA application.
  • Write software programs ensuring compatibility with existing web services, APIs, and integrated systems.
  • Conduct unit testing to ensure that developed software aligns with design specifications and functional requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation for the general design of solutions meeting system and security requirements.
  • Develop specifications for databases, communication systems, hardware, network, security, storage, and software configurations.
