IT Operations (AS400) Specialist
Location: Pickering, ON (Onsite 4 days/week)
Openings: 1 Onsite + 2 Offshore roles
We are looking for an experienced ITOps Specialist to maintain and support our IBM i (AS400) environment that powers key business functions like finance, inventory, and manufacturing.
Job Description:
  • Oversee daily AS400 operations, job monitoring, backups, and security
  • Provide L2/L3 support for incidents and helpdesk escalations
  • Manage BRMS backups, system maintenance, and recovery testing
  • Handle device/peripheral troubleshooting and user access
  • Gradually grow into CL scripting, RPG programming, and system development
Required:
  • 10+ years in IT operations or support (AS400 highly preferred)
  • Hands-on skills in job scheduling, system monitoring, and BRMS
  • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication abilities
  • Bonus: Infor BPCS/LX or manufacturing/ERP experience
