RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Lead Nuclear Project Manager in Palo, IA.
Summary:
This position is responsible for the completion of projects that support nuclear objectives. Employees in this role may lead or support projects that vary with regard to resource requirements, functional interaction, direction, scope, and timeframe. Individuals maintain project momentum, surface problems and recommendations, report completion status, and control costs to budget.
Responsibilities:
* Leads projects to ensure completion by schedule date
* Creates plans, cost analysis, schedules, estimations, and reports to communicate project deliverables and status of completion
* Coordinates engineering, construction and other functional resources to complete project objectives
* Leads and coaches schedulers, cost engineers and estimators regarding project significance
* Manages all site-related project controls and systems to support project development tasks
* Performs other job-related duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
* High School diploma/GED
* Bachelor's or equivalent experience
* Experience: 10+ years
* Supervisor/Management Experience: 5+ years
Preferred Qualifications:
* Bachelor's - Sciences
* Bachelor's - Engineering
* Nuclear Experience: 5+ years
* Project Management Professional (PMP)
Special Requirements:
Nuclear Specific Requirements:
* Bachelor's in Engineering, Business, or technical discipline and 5+ years of experience in project management, engineering, or construction in either the nuclear or fossil industry
* In absence of degree: 10+ years of experience in project management, engineering, or construction in either the nuclear or fossil industry
* Experience with estimating systems
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
