This is a long term contract with our direct client and the manager is looking to move quick on this position.
Responsibilities
Design and document test strategies and test plans
Develop and execute automation test scripts for cloud and on-prem hosted environments in alignment with the testing strategies
Validate and verify that software applications meet business, operational, performance, and other non-functional requirements
Collaborate closely with other agile teams driving efficiency in the Automated Engineering processes
Work with QA Automation Engineers to support the department's Quality Assurance Community of Practice initiatives
Experience Required
2+ years of software development experience
4+ years of experience in creating and running automation tests for execution in build pipelines to test integration, regression, load, and performance testing of API applications
Experience with test management tools and with test automation tools
Proficient in using Playwright for Test Automation
Proficient in writing test scripts in Typescript
Proficient with object-oriented programming languages to read and understand application code and to write automated tests
Ability to create test strategy and test plan to automate testing of applications
Strong understanding of databases and data querying
Working knowledge of cloud platforms and integration/deployment of test suites into CI/CD pipelines
Experience working in an agile development environment
Possess excellent problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
