Job Details

M365 / Endpoint Security Engineer:

Contractor (Engineer Level) is required to assist with implementing additional security features in Intune, the engineer will need to be highly skilled in Intune and with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager and will need to have experience with migrating MCM to Intune with all polices and workloads. The current Admins do not have experience or knowledge to complete this project there will also be a great deal of support required from both the Azure and Identity management teams that this Engineer will need to work with and have excellent communications skills. Contractor required for the day-to-day support activities for 14 managed agencies and several non-managed agencies requiring support to implement MDM support in Intune and with 1 Intune engineer to work on All existing and new security features as described in our 24-27 Intune roadmap.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and secure devices across multiple platforms and deploy/manage apps to ensure secure access to corporate resources.
  • Implement endpoint security policies (e.g., antivirus, encryption), conditional access, and compliance configurations.
  • Work with Azure AD, On-Prem AD, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and other M365 services to provide unified management and enhance security.
  • Develop PowerShell/Bash scripts for automating tasks, optimizing deployments, and improving security compliance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex incidents, provide major incident support, and guide less experienced team members.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for configurations, policies, and procedures; generate reports to track usage, compliance, and risks.
  • Work with internal teams and third parties to drive continuous improvement and stay informed about product developments
