Description
We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Maryknoll, New York. This Contract-to-permanent position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing technical support and troubleshooting for both hardware and software issues. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with excellent communication and customer service skills to ensure efficient problem resolution and user satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical support for Windows PCs, Apple Macs, and a variety of operating systems, including Windows and operating systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues for end-users, including printers and frequently used applications.
Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of computer hardware, networking basics, and backup technologies.
Support Microsoft Office 365 and other commonly utilized PC and Mac applications.
Respond promptly to customer inquiries, ensuring satisfaction by attentively listening and addressing concerns.
Walk customers through technical problem-solving steps with patience and clarity.
Collaborate with team members to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues while sharing knowledge and feedback.
Maintain accurate documentation of technical issues and resolutions within configuration management systems.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and continuously enhance technical skills to improve support services.
Requirements
Associate degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience demonstrating attention to detail.
A+ Certification is required; candidates must complete the certification within two years if not already obtained.
At least 1-2 years of relevant experience is preferred, but entry level candidates with strong potential will also be considered.
Proficiency in Windows PCs, Apple devices, and basic networking concepts.
Familiarity with Active Directory, Citrix, Cisco, and Dell Technologies is an advantage.
Strong troubleshooting skills for both hardware and software issues, including printer support and basic PC repair.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality customer service.
Passion for learning and adapting to new technologies and systems in a fast-paced environment.
