Job Details
Our client, a leading Network Maintenance and Optimization company, is in need of an F5 Resident Engineer for an initial 12 month contract onsite in Salt Lake City, UT. The F5 Resident Engineer will be supporting an enterprise DoD environment with a focus on the administration, configuration and troubleshooting of the customers F5 environment, specifically The F5 VIPRION platform. The F5 Resident Engineer will be responsible for troubleshooting and root cause analysis of F5 VIPRION related issues, monitor and maintain F5 platforms and document F5 VIPRION configurations, procedures and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing with the customer.

Required Skills:
- 5 years of experience working as an F5 Administrator / Engineer.
- Experience providing troubleshooting, administration and configuration support of the F5 VIPRION platform.
- Must have an active Secret clearance.
- Knowledge and experience of networking concepts, protocols and technologies including, TCP / IP, DNS, SSL / TLS, HTTP and routing.
- Experience with F5 BIG-IP platforms to include, LTM, GTM, ASM, APM and iRules scripting.
Preferred or Nice to Have Skills:
- Some level of F5 certification.
- Operational experience with other network platforms like Cisco, Palo, etc.
