Human Resources (HR) Intern

Introduction:

The Human Resources (HR) Intern will play a vital role in supporting the HR team with various tasks related to recruitment, onboarding, HR operations, employee engagement, compliance, and policy support. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of human resources and contribute to the overall success of the team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Assist with sourcing candidates through job boards, social media, and internal databases
  • Screen resumes and schedule interviews
  • Coordinate candidate communication and follow-up
  • Support the onboarding process for new hires, including document collection and orientation logistics

2. HR Operations & Administration

  • Maintain and update employee records and HR databases
  • Prepare HR-related documents (offer letters, contracts, etc.)
  • Assist with attendance, leave management, and HR reporting
  • Support payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonuses, etc.)

3. Employee Engagement & HR Projects

  • Assist in planning employee engagement activities and events
  • Help conduct surveys and compile feedback for HR initiatives
  • Contribute to performance management and training coordination efforts

4. Compliance & Policy Support

  • Ensure HR policies and procedures are followed
  • Assist in preparing compliance-related documentation
  • Support the HR team in audits and internal reviews

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented and eager to learn HR functions
