Human Resources (HR) Intern
Introduction:
The Human Resources (HR) Intern will play a vital role in supporting the HR team with various tasks related to recruitment, onboarding, HR operations, employee engagement, compliance, and policy support. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of human resources and contribute to the overall success of the team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment & Onboarding
- Assist with sourcing candidates through job boards, social media, and internal databases
- Screen resumes and schedule interviews
- Coordinate candidate communication and follow-up
- Support the onboarding process for new hires, including document collection and orientation logistics
2. HR Operations & Administration
- Maintain and update employee records and HR databases
- Prepare HR-related documents (offer letters, contracts, etc.)
- Assist with attendance, leave management, and HR reporting
- Support payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonuses, etc.)
3. Employee Engagement & HR Projects
- Assist in planning employee engagement activities and events
- Help conduct surveys and compile feedback for HR initiatives
- Contribute to performance management and training coordination efforts
4. Compliance & Policy Support
- Ensure HR policies and procedures are followed
- Assist in preparing compliance-related documentation
- Support the HR team in audits and internal reviews
Qualifications:
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- High level of integrity and confidentiality
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented and eager to learn HR functions
