Oracle ERP Database Administrator

DataStaff, Inc. is in need of an Oracle ERP Database Administrator for a long-term contract opportunity with one of our direct clients in Richmond, VA.
*This position is hybrid, 3 days per week are onsite
* Position will participate in an on-call 7-day rotation at least two weeks a month, typically rotating every other week
Job Description:

• Our client has an opportunity for an Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) who will serve as a backup for the primary Oracle DBA and who will perform on call duties.
• Support During Normal Business Hours and some off hour.
• Support Outside Core Business Hours

Required Skills:

• 10 Years - Strong DBA experience in working with Oracle 19c
• 3 Years - Must be familiar with 1cc Oracle RAC
• 3 Years - Must be familiar with Dataguard Physical Standby.
• 10 Years - Must have experience with RMAN backup and recovery
• 5 Years - Other skills include export data pump and import data pump utilities, Oracle Enterprise Manager, and ASM (Automatic Storage Management) on Linux.
• 10 Years - Must possess strong troubleshooting skills.
• 10 Years - Must have strong communication skills, verbally and in writing.

Desired Skills:

• 4 Years - Bachelor s Degree in Information Systems or Computer Science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3 Years - Experience supporting Linux or Unix System Administration, a bonus.
• 3 Years - Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification preferred.
• 3 Years - Experience with SQL Server 2019
