Skills required: Candidate has worked testing salesforce marketing cloud, sales cloud, and service cloud. Data cloud is a plus.

• Developing Automated Test Scripts: Create, maintain, and execute test scripts using various testing tools and frameworks. This involves writing code to simulate user interactions, validate software functionality, and verify system behavior.
• Test Planning and Strategy: Collaborate with QA teams and software developers to design comprehensive test plans and strategies that include both manual and automated testing approaches. Determine the scope of automated testing and identify suitable test cases for automation.
• Tool Selection and Implementation: Evaluate, select, and implement appropriate automation testing tools and frameworks based on project requirements, technology stack, and industry best practices. This may involve tools such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.
• Continuous Integration and Deployment (CI/CD): Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to facilitate continuous testing and delivery of software updates. Configure automated testing environments and ensure seamless execution of test suites as part of the build and deployment process.
• Test Execution and Analysis: Execute automated test suites on different platforms, browsers, and devices to identify defects, regressions, and performance issues. Analyze test results, logs, and metrics to pinpoint the root cause of failures and collaborate with the development team to resolve issues.
• Maintaining Test Infrastructure: Manage and maintain the test automation infrastructure, including test environments, servers, databases, and other resources required for automated testing. Ensure the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of the automation framework.
• Documentation and Reporting: Document test cases, test scripts, test data, and automation frameworks for future reference and knowledge sharing. Generate comprehensive test reports and metrics to communicate the status of automated testing efforts and track quality metrics over time.
• Training and Support: Provide training and support to QA engineers, developers, and other team members on automation best practices, tools usage, and test automation techniques. Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in automation testing within the organization.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and methodologies in automation testing and quality assurance. Continuously improve the automation framework, processes, and practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of automated testing efforts.
• Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and stakeholders, to ensure alignment on quality goals, requirements, and priorities. Communicate effectively about test results, issues, and risks to facilitate timely decision-making and problem resolution.
