Safe/Agile PM

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master with strong Agile expertise to support our Data Analytics initiatives in an Azure environment. The ideal candidate will facilitate agile ceremonies, ensure smooth delivery of analytics solutions, and enable collaboration using whiteboarding and visualization tools.

You will work closely with product owners, data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to ensure sprint goals are achieved and business value is delivered on time.

Responsibilities:

• Act as Scrum Master for multiple agile teams delivering data analytics solutions on Azure.


• Facilitate all Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Refinement, Sprint Review, and Retrospectives).


• Enable collaboration using whiteboarding tools (Miro, MURAL, Lucidspark, or MS Whiteboard) for sprint planning, backlog refinement, and design discussions.


• Partner with the Product Owner to refine and maintain the product backlog in Azure DevOps.


• Guide the team in Agile best practices ensuring continuous improvement and effective delivery.


• Track and report team progress using Azure DevOps dashboards & burndown charts.


• Remove impediments and proactively resolve risks or blockers affecting delivery.


• Collaborate with data engineers, BI developers, and data scientists to support data analytics initiatives (ETL pipelines, reporting, dashboards, AI/ML models).


• Ensure delivery aligns with business needs, security policies, and data governance standards.


• Coach team members on Agile principles, servant leadership, and self-organization.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 6+ years of IT experience with at least 3+ years as a Scrum Master in Agile environments.


• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and frameworks (SAFe, Kanban experience a plus).


• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for backlog management, sprint tracking, and reporting.


• Experience working in Azure cloud environments (Data Lake, Synapse, Data Factory, Databricks preferred).


• Exposure to data analytics and BI projects (Power BI, SQL, data pipelines).


• Experience with whiteboarding/collaboration tools such as Miro, MURAL, MS Whiteboard, or Lucidspark.


• Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.


• Certified Scrum Master (CSM/PSM) preferred.
