In this position...
  • This person will help develop die cast, greensand, and semi-permanent mold casting Industrialization plans for new supplier sites, new technology and high-risk commodities (structural, EV and ICE applications).
  • This person will help support the execution, development and maintenance of casting manufacturing standards.
  • This person drive robust sourcing risk assessment on casting suppliers.


What you'll do...
  • Develop casting process point of view with Technical Experts and affected regions on manufacturing feasibility assessment of new technologies and high-risk commodities.
  • Develop casting manufacturing feasibility readiness plans for new supplier sites, new technology and high-risk commodities.
  • Provide casting manufacturing technical support address supplier systemic quality, capacity, delivery, and manufacturing issues.
  • Collaborate with peers in Product Development and Supply Chain.
  • Develop global lessons learned and prevent recurrence.


You'll have...
  • Bachelor's Degree in Science
  • 3-5 or more years of manufacturing experience
  • High Pressure Die Casting (HPDC) process/manufacturing experience

Even better, you may have...
  • MBA/MS preferred - Chemical/Electrical/Mechanical or Metallurgy/Materials Science
  • English (+Spanish plus) language fluently to effectively communicate with global teams
  • Advanced knowledge of casting manufacturing process(es) with hands-on experience
  • Experience in the casting process planning, implementation, and launch and secondary manufacturing operations (machining, assembly, etc)
  • Experience performing casting manufacturing feasibility assessments
  • Foundry operational experience in casting manufacturing processes and process control
  • Experience in project management and/or program launches preferred
