As a supervisor role that does the ingestion and delivery of subsets of licensed data to each of our client bases using in-house software. This role also involves taking database backup/restore, application installation & configuration, system maintenance and troubleshooting, DB & Cluster failover and DR failover. Interacting with the software, supervising the application process and logs, handling issues or escalating issues to the respective team. The role requires a meticulous person who can follow through on instructions, adapt as needed while working in a heavy multi-tasking and fast-paced role!

A DevOps Lead handles deployment infrastructure within a cloud environment. They collaborate with software development teams to ensure reliable application deployment. Their responsibilities include designing and monitoring cloud resources, addressing infrastructure issues, and providing technical support to development teams.
key responsibilities include:
1. Management: Coordinating efforts between product design, development, and business-oriented operations to achieve successful new product launches.
2. Design and Development: Creating and maintaining the organization's infrastructure, deploying automation, and reducing risk management.
3. Collaboration and Support: Working closely with developers to streamline code releases and enhance overall system reliability and scalability. Remember, this role involves managing Azure DevOps tools and services, ensuring smooth code integration, and automating processes
4. Continuous Integration and Deployment (CI/CD): Implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to automate software builds, testing, and deployment processes. This ensures faster and more reliable releases.
5. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Using tools like Terraform or ARM templates to define and manage infrastructure resources. IaC allows you to treat infrastructure configuration like code, making it easier to maintain and reproduce.
6. Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Setting up monitoring solutions (such as Azure Monitor or Application Insights) to track system performance, detect issues, and proactively address them.
7. Security and Compliance: Ensuring that security best practices are followed, managing access controls, and staying compliant with industry standards (e.g., GDPR, DORA).
8. Collaboration with Development Teams: Working closely with software developers to understand their requirements, provide guidance on DevOps practices, and assist in resolving deployment-related issues.

Experience

We are looking for Graduates (B.Sc/M.Sc Computer Science, B.CA/ MCA, B.E) with proven track record in Application support or Technical operation.

Compensation/Benefits Information:

LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $108,900 - $181,700.

Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP/"bonus plan"). Target AIP rates will be commensurate with role level and posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience. LSEG roles (excluding internships and part-time roles of less than 20 hours per week) are typically eligible for inclusion in our LSEG Benefits program, which includes offerings of: Annual Wellness Allowance, Paid time-off, Medical, Dental, Vision, Flex Spending & Health Savings Options, Prescription Drug plan, 401(K) Savings Plan and Company match.
