Job Details

Immediate and Contract to Perm opening for an Information Security Analyst to join a growing cybersecurity team and help scale security operations in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. *This role is onsite in Carrollton, TX*

Responsibilities:

  • Support incident detection, investigation, and response activities
  • Perform and contribute to vulnerability scanning, risk reporting, and patch validation
  • Assist in the development, review, and enforcement of security policies and procedures
  • Monitor and analyze events from tools like firewalls, SIEMs, EDR, IDS/IPS
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure best practices in security
  • Participate in access reviews, policy enforcement, and configuration hardening
  • Contribute to risk assessments, audits, and support compliance efforts aligned with NIST, CIS, or ISO 27001

What We re Looking For

Required:

  • 2 4 years of hands-on experience in IT or cybersecurity roles
  • Solid understanding of:
    • Incident response and remediation workflows
    • Vulnerability management tools and best practices
    • Security hardening techniques and network security concepts
  • Familiarity with industry frameworks like NIST, CIS, or ISO 27001
  • Proficiency with tools such as SIEMs, IDS/IPS, firewalls, EDR
  • Excellent collaboration, troubleshooting, and communication skills
  • Self-starter attitude with a desire to learn and take ownership

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) or Google Workspace
  • Exposure to IAM (Identity and Access Management) or PAM (Privileged Access Management) tools
  • Scripting knowledge (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation
