Sr. Data Engineer

Introduction

The Sr. Data Engineer will be responsible for developing an HHS data integration hub, working with various data sources, and implementing data visualization solutions. This position will be based in Austin, Texas.

Responsibilities

  • Lead agile development team through project
  • Acquire and integrate data from multiple sources using Informatica Power Center/IICS
  • Design and develop complex SQL scripts for Oracle and Snowflake
  • Collaborate with team on optimal data design
  • Participate in sprint ceremonies
  • Work on implementation designs and data acquisition strategies
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation

8RequiredExperience developing mappings and workflows to automate ETL processes using Informatica Power Center or IICS.

8RequiredStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience as a system analyst for a data analytics, performance management system, or data warehousing project.
8RequiredTechnical writing and diagraming skills, including proficiency with modeling and mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Erwin), and the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and MS Project.
8RequiredExperience in planning and delivering software platforms used across multiple products and organizational units.
8RequiredProven ability to write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
