Job Description:
- The UX Designer will be responsible for creating a positive and productive end user experience for TEA applications and websites and for maintaining a user-centric focus throughout product development.
- TEA is seeking a senior UX Designer to help create solutions that improve education technology integration and enable parents, teachers, schools, and district leaders to focus on what is most important -- their students. The UX Designer will play a critical role in ensuring the successful deployment of technology solutions by maintaining a strong user- centric focus and driving alignment with existing work in the field. They will work under minimal supervision with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and use strong independent judgment.
- UX Designers at TEA are responsible for:
- + OverseeeingUX/UI designs to ensure design decisions are grounded in user experience and adhere to agency-wide design standards and industry-wide best practices
- + Translating research into user stories, requirements, flows, wireframes, and prototypes and collaborating on the future product roadmap
- + Employing user testing and outreach to ensure products meets the needs of the end users, in collaboration with partners
- + Partnering with the product team and other key stakeholders, including senior leadership, on design solutions and rationales; collaborating with internal and external teams of product designers, developers, and product managers
