About the Role

Lead sales & revenue generation for a $10M+ portfolio of strategic and high-growth potential Consumer/Retail accounts in the North America region.

The position will be responsible for key account management, building and nurturing senior executive relationships, seeding technology-driven initiatives, and delivering on account growth ambitions. This position requires meeting annual booking and revenue targets and executing long-term account expansion strategies in the North American region.

Ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in direct sales and a strong track record of having excelled in customer relationship management. The candidate will have to demonstrate an in-depth understanding of Consumer and Retail market segment trends.

Your Team

This position would be an individual contributor role and would report to the sector/vertical sales head.

What You Will Do
  • Establish network and relationships within the Consumer/Retail segment with a proven ability to open doors and close deals.
  • Strong understanding of Consumer/Retail technology value chain.
  • Experience working with CXOs is highly preferred.
  • Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet clients, attend industry events, and drive business growth.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).

What You Need
  • Bachelor of Engineering / Computer Science Engineering. MBA is an added advantage.
  • 15-20 years of Industry experience with at least 10 years in sales / account management roles in the IT / Product engineering services organizations.
  • Experience in working with "C" level/Sr Executive level contacts in these accounts.
  • Good understanding of the Consumer/Retail sector.
  • Good understanding of software development lifecycle and technology in areas like Software, Cloud, Data engineering, Analytics, AI/ML etc.
  • Should have prior experience of selling digital engineering services and delivering to quotas.
  • Proven Experience in account and customer relationship management
  • Should be proficient in written and verbal communication. Should be capable of presenting proposals, offerings, solutions to customers. Should have good problem-solving skills and should be an excellent team player.

What is Nice to Have
  • Program or project management experience for large complex Consumer/Retail company
  • Technical expertise in various technology stack, Software Development, IoT, and Analytics/AI/ML
  • Prior service delivery and vendor management experience

  • Substantial experience in account mining and account expansion (5M+) in NA region.
  • Demonstrable global / key account management best practices
  • Strong network and referenceable connects, in Consumer/Retail sector.
  • Experience of having worked with hyperscalers (Microsoft, AWS, Oracle, Google) and delivered joint solutions.
  • Demonstrate innovative approach to grow sales pipeline.
  • High energy and ambition to drive account / portfolio growth.
  • Highly focused to drive customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, across time zones.
  • Willing to travel 75% of time within the US.
  • Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment
