Job Details

Description

Responsibilities
  • Manage F5 Big IP LTM and GTM devices
  • Create iRules, configure virtual IPs, pools and nodes
  • Modify and enhance complex url redirects using irules and data groups
  • Modify firewall policies on Checkpoint VSX series firewalls
  • Manage Cisco routers (ISR and ASR), firewalls (ASA), and switches (catalyst and nexus).
  • Respond to and execute work requests through Service Now
  • Respond to and remedy incidents submitted through Service Now
  • Design network resources around new custom application needs
  • Provide expertise and support to customers as well as fellow IT employees in infrastructure as well as application development
  • Network Device Management - SNMP, Netflow, Monitoring Device Uptime and Capacity Management
  • On call duty, 1 week at a time rotating with a group of 7 engineers

Requirements
  • Cisco route/switch experience (HSRP, VPC, VLAN, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, 802.1x, Netflow)
  • F5 LTM experience (Certificate management, iRules, Data Groups)
  • F5 GTM experience (WIPs, Zones, creating records)
  • Firewall experience (ASA, Checkpoint, and Palo Alto)
  • Ability to interface and provide quality support to all partners and customers
  • Strive in a fast paced, always changing, never standardized environment
  • Enterprise level experience
  • Ability to troubleshoot effectively and maintain updated status to customer
Qualifications
  • 5 years technical experience in two relevant technologies or services areas listed above
  • BA/BS or Associates degree in related technologies or services area
  • Experience at an enterprise level company
  • CCNA or CCNP (preferred but not required)
