Windows/Citrix Cloud Administrator

Location: Princeton, NJ Hybrid 3 Days On-Site

Duration: 12 Months Contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, deploy, and manage Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop solutions.
• Oversee and maintain Citrix Storefront, ensuring seamless access to applications and desktops for users.
• Implement and manage Citrix NetScaler for load balancing, security, and access control.
• Administer and support DAAS environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues within the Citrix infrastructure.
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate Citrix solutions with other enterprise systems, including networking, storage, and virtualization platforms.
• Perform upgrades, patches, and maintenance to ensure systems are up to date.
• Provide technical leadership and best practices for Citrix infrastructure optimization and scalability.
• Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation for all Citrix environments.
• Analyze, log, track and resolve software/hardware issues pertaining to server operating system and related services.
• Manage Windows Server ticket queue, resolve issues and provide 1st and 2nd level support of all Windows server platforms and associated applications.
• Identify and repair inconsistent Windows server configurations including drift config on Citrix and VMware systems.
• Standardization and automation of systems, tasks and workflows using PowerShell.
• Participate in Infrastructure project design/implementations and Disaster Recovery exercises.
• Produce reports for daily checks, real-time monitoring, and capacity management to support infrastructure management needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience (5+ years) working with Citrix technologies, including XenApp, XenDesktop, Storefront, and NetScaler.
• Expertise in designing and managing Citrix environments in both on-premise and cloud environments.
• Experience with Terraform is a HUGE plus
• Hands-on experience with DAAS platforms and virtual desktop solutions is required.
• Strong knowledge of virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
• Proficient in networking concepts and load balancing using Citrix NetScaler (ADC).
• Experience with Citrix provisioning services (PVS) and/or machine creation services (MCS).
• Knowledge of Active Directory, group policies, DNS, DHCP, and other Windows Server components.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues in Citrix environments, including application, network, and infrastructure layers.
• Strong understanding of IT security practices, especially related to Citrix environments.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, including CI/CD pipeline configuration, automation, and management of cloud infrastructure and services.
• Advanced experience administering Windows Server (2016, 2019 and 2022).
• Familiarity with scripting (e.g., PowerShell) for automation and system management
