Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Healthcare IT Project Manager with deep expertise in Electronic Medical Records systems.
Must have a proven track record of leading complex, large-scale IT projects within healthcare organizations, ensuring compliance, quality, and successful delivery across all phases of SDLC.
This role requires strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and a clear understanding of hospital and clinical workflows.
Minimum of 7+ years of experience applying project management principles, methods, techniques, and tools.
At least 4 years of experience as a Senior Project Manager managing one or more large or complex IT projects.
Bachelor’s degree and Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (to be verified).
5 years of experience managing technology product teams, developing detailed task-level SDLC plans.
5 years of experience working with Electronic Medical Records technical requirements.
5 years of Healthcare IT project management experience with knowledge of hospital and clinic workflows.
5 years of experience collaborating with clinical staff to evaluate current and future state workflows.
5 years of experience designing and developing processes to ensure compliance with HIPAA and IT requirements for healthcare/patient data privacy.
Experience implementing systems supporting 18,000+ users.
Proven experience managing educational/training documentation and scheduling training for clinical staff and end users.
In-depth knowledge of system development methodologies and technologies used in EMR systems.
Strong experience leading cross-functional IT teams (Business Analysts, Application Architects, Test Engineers, etc.) in a matrixed environment across all phases of program and product delivery.
Prior experience with state government healthcare systems is a plus.
