Job Details

We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Developer with hands-on expertise in PeopleSoft HCM/FIN 9.2 and PeopleTools 8.6 to join our ERP development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, customizing, testing, and maintaining PeopleSoft applications to support business processes and strategic initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement PeopleSoft components (Application Engine, PeopleCode, Component Interfaces, App Packages, SQR, BI Publisher, Integration Broker, etc.)
  • Develop and customize applications in PeopleSoft HCM/FIN 9.2 using PeopleTools 8.6.
  • Perform impact analysis and estimate development efforts for enhancements and projects.
  • Work with functional analysts to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Support and maintain existing PeopleSoft modules, applying patches, fixes, and updates.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to PeopleSoft applications and integrations.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and interfaces with external systems.
  • Ensure code compliance with internal standards and PeopleSoft best practices.
  • Participate in system upgrades, PUM updates, and tools upgrades (especially 8.6 features).
  • Collaborate closely with QA teams for unit testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing.
  • Document technical specifications, change logs, and deployment procedures.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5 10 years of experience in PeopleSoft application development.
  • Strong experience with PeopleSoft 9.2 (HCM, FSCM, or Campus Solutions specify as needed).
  • Proficiency in PeopleTools 8.6 (Application Designer, Application Engine, PeopleCode, Component Interfaces, App Packages, SQR, etc.).
  • Experience with Integration Broker, REST/SOAP Web Services, and API integrations.
  • Knowledge of PeopleSoft Fluid UI, Pivot Grids, and WorkCenters.
  • Strong SQL and Oracle database skills.
  • Experience with PUM image upgrades and Change Assistant.
  • Familiarity with PeopleSoft security, workflow, and approvals framework (AWE).
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative, agile environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with PeopleSoft Test Framework (PTF).
  • Exposure to cloud integrations (Oracle Cloud, Azure, etc.).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools and DevOps practices for PeopleSoft environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
