Job Description:
Seeking an experienced Security & Compliance Project Manager to lead and support IT security and compliance initiatives. This role involves defining project scope, managing risks, ensuring compliance with security frameworks, and collaborating with technical teams, stakeholders, and vendors to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage security and compliance projects, including planning, reporting, and documentation.
Define project objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
Establish and implement project management processes and best practices.
Collaborate with stakeholders of varying technical knowledge.
Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Support SDLC processes and recommend improvements.
Required Skills:
Project Management experience.
Information Security, Compliance, or Risk Management.
Strong organizational, reporting, and communication skills.
Bachelor s degree or 5+ years of related experience.
Experience with healthcare/Medicaid or similar programs.
Knowledge of HIPAA, NIST, FERPA, and other security frameworks.
Familiarity with MS Project, Microsoft Office, and eGRC tools (e.g., RSA Archer).
PMP or security certifications a plus.
