Senior Full Stack Engineer (TypeScript / Node / React)

Job Description

We re looking for a full-stack engineer to join a remote-first product team that values thoughtful problem-solving, ownership, and clear communication. You ll work on meaningful software that impacts real users building and maintaining systems that are both scalable and user-friendly.

What You ll Do

• Develop and maintain product features using modern JavaScript/TypeScript technologies
• Design and implement backend services and web-based user interfaces
• Take ownership of features throughout their lifecycle from design through deployment and ongoing support
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teammates including product and design
• Contribute to a remote-first, async-friendly culture that prioritizes focus and autonomy
• Participate in periodic on-call rotations to help ensure reliability
• Write clear documentation and contribute to internal knowledge sharing
• Tech Environment Includes

Frontend: React, TypeScript

Backend: Node.js, NestJS

Databases: Postgres, MongoDB

Infrastructure: AWS, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines

Tooling: GitHub, Slack, Notion, Confluence

What We re Looking For

• 4+ years of experience building full stack web applications
• Solid experience with TypeScript and working across both client and server-side code
• Proven ability to ship production-ready features with minimal supervision
• Excellent written communication skills comfortable working in a distributed, async environment
• Understanding of modern cloud infrastructure and scalable system design
• A user-focused mindset always building with the end experience in mind
• Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, accountability-driven team

Nice to Have

• Background in startups or agile product environments
• Experience with continuous deployment, trunk-based development, and observability tools
• Familiarity with marketplaces or platform-based products
• Interest in healthcare, workforce solutions, or mission-driven technology
