Job Description:
Position: Sr. Platform Systems Analyst - Enterprise Monitoring

Location: Orlando, FL (Hybrid - 3 days onsite, 2 days remote; remote eligibility determined after training and performance review)

Duration: Direct Hire / Full-Time

Pay Rate Range: Approx. $105,000 base + 8% annual bonus (flexible for highly qualified candidates)
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

This role is centered around building and maintaining a comprehensive observability framework to support high system availability and performance. Key responsibilities include:
  • Designing and managing monitoring solutions across infrastructure, applications, and cloud environments.
  • Administering and optimizing monitoring tools and alerting systems.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define KPIs and monitoring strategies.
  • Integrating tools like AppDynamics, Azure Monitor, Prometheus, SCOM, and xMatters into a cohesive observability platform.
  • Creating dashboards and visualizations using tools such as Grafana and Azure Insights.
  • Supporting incident response and root cause analysis through intelligent alerting and telemetry analysis.
  • Documenting monitoring configurations, procedures, and best practices.

  • 3+ years of experience in enterprise monitoring and observability
  • Proficiency with tools such as AppDynamics, Prometheus, Azure Monitor, SCOM, Entuity, or WhatsUpGold
  • Experience with both Windows and Linux/UNIX systems
  • Strong understanding of cloud-native monitoring (especially Azure)
  • Familiarity with distributed systems and enterprise application architecture
  • Scripting and automation experience
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available)Plusses:
  • Experience with xMatters and BigPanda
  • Familiarity with ITSM platforms (e.g., Remedy, Helix)
  • Experience with dashboarding tools like Grafana or Power BI
  • Exposure to DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices
  • ITIL certification
