Lead the solution design and implementation of core platform features
API Design and Implementation
Provide Operational support with building platform monitoring tools/dashboards, ad hoc reports

Work Environment

Team is co-located across the US, India, and the UK. This role is hybrid in the Salt Lake City, UT office.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Overall 8+ years of developing internet-scale solution development primarily using Java, Spring Boot, RDBMS and no-sql databases
Must have demonstrated proficiency and experience in the following tools and technologies:
o Java 8 (Lambdas, Streams, Completable Future, optional, generics)
o Spring boot (webflux , Reactor 3), spring-data, REST
o Java functional and reactive programming
o Test Driven Development
o Asynchronous Reactive Micro services utilizing Vert.x
o REST APIs using Spring Boot 2.0 (reactive) and skilled in Open API (swagger) specification
designing database schemas, index design, optimizations for query tuning
o Working knowledge of cloud technologies (eg. docker, kubernetes, jager, prometheus)
o Modern software engineering tools: git workflows, gradle, load testing tools, mock frameworks
o Good knowledge of messaging systems like Kafka, mq
o One Data Experience is needed for internal candidates
Take pride in writing good clean code, perform peer code reviews and architecture reviews.
A bachelor\'s degree in engineering or related field

1. One hour technical live coding with engineers on the team
2. 30 minutes cultural with engineering director
