Job Description
We are seeking a Semantic Engineer to design and implement semantic models, ontologies, and knowledge graphs that enable intelligent data integration and reasoning. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in semantic web technologies and a passion for building systems that understand and process meaning.
Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop ontologies and knowledge graphs for complex domains.
• Implement semantic web standards such asRDF, OWL, and SPARQL.
• Integrate heterogeneous data sources using linked data principles.
• Develop and maintain reasoning engines and semantic search capabilities.
• Collaborate with data scientists and AI engineers to enrich models with semantic layers.
• Optimize performance of semantic queries and reasoning processes.
• Document semantic models and ensure compliance with interoperability standards.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Semantic Web technologies: RDF, OWL, SPARQL.
• Experience with ontology design tools (e.g.,Protg).
• Familiarity with knowledge graph platforms (Neo4j, GraphDB, Apache Jena).
• Proficiency in programming languages: Python, Java.
• Understanding of data integration and linked data principles.
• Good grasp of NLP and AI concepts for semantic enrichment.

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience with reasoning engines (Pellet, HermiT).
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) for semantic solutions.
• Knowledge of industry-specific ontologies (e.g., FIBO for finance, SNOMED for healthcare).
